Science in Year 5

Year 5 have been conducting experiments this week as part of their science topic. They were investigating whether the size of the canopy of a parachute would affect the rate of descent. The children all gathered in the back playground and made predictions about how quickly the batman figure would fall from the top of the Year 5 building with various parachutes attached. They then put the results in a table and a bar graph to see if they could spot a pattern.
